There have been many predictions over the years. And recently, it’s the December 21, 2012 end of the world prediction that has caught a great deal of the world’s attention because it is the day that the Mayan Calendar runs out. Allegedly, it is the mark of the end of an era.

The Mayan civilization is known to have resided in parts of Southern Mexico and Central America. Mayans were considered to have a talent for astronomy and they were able to predict various events like the solar shift and violent earthquakes.

It is definitely not hard to imagine people get swayed from this one detail that is now making a big fuss in everyone’s life. There was even a song written entitled 2012 that has lyrics that is pertaining to the end of the world.

A vast of the world’s population has the right to choose what they should believe. If they’ll look through the facts, they're sure to find something. But looking more closely, it could be just a hoax.

Why a hoax? A lot of powerful people especially those inclined with money and business have every capacity to make a commotion. And even just a regular individual could too. There was this article from a site that explains how he was profiting from the 2012 end of the world prediction. (http://www.moneymakerdiscussion.com/forum/simple-money-making-methods-make-money-online/31390-how-i-profiting-2012-end-world.html)

"If people will believe in predictions, many is assumed to die, battling with what they believe and what they refuse to believe and not by the so-called last day of the Mayan calendar but because of the lost of faith. It is just a matter of who you really believe. But God is surely the only one who can tell."
